MANILA, Philippines. 06 July 2026. – Jollibee Group has once again ranked first among Philippine companies in the Brand Finance Sustainability Perceptions Index, marking its second consecutive year at the top of the local ranking.

According to the Brand Finance Philippines 50 2026 report, Jollibee Group led Filipino companies in perceptions of sustainability across all three environmental, social, and governance pillars.

The recognition reflects the Jollibee Group’s consistent, wide-ranging, and measurable efforts under its Joy for Tomorrow sustainability agenda. These initiatives build on previously established baselines and are continuously strengthened to improve operational efficiency, expand adoption, and create lasting value for stakeholders and communities.

Measuring the value of sustainability perceptions

Brand Finance is a leading brand valuation agency that evaluates thousands of major companies each year across industries and markets.

Its Sustainability Perceptions Index examines how sustainability contributes to brand value by combining a brand’s overall value, the importance of sustainability as a purchasing consideration within its sector, and stakeholder perceptions of the brand’s sustainability performance.

In its 2026 report, Brand Finance noted that Jollibee Group led sustainability perceptions among Filipino companies across all three ESG pillars.

Building on measurable progress

The recognition follows key sustainability milestones achieved by the Jollibee Group from late 2025 through early 2026. Across covered Philippine commissaries, 99% of electricity use has shifted to renewable energy, including geothermal energy, with the potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by more than 70%. During the same period, the Group also achieved another milestone through the country’s first LEED-certified quick-service restaurant, reinforcing its broader commitment to embedding sustainability across its operations.

The Group also inaugurated the Danao Commissary in Cebu, strengthening its manufacturing and supply-chain capabilities in the Visayas and Mindanao. The facility earned LEED Gold certification this year for its measurable achievements in energy efficiency, water conservation, renewable energy use, and construction waste management. It also incorporates more than 30 sustainability initiatives previously implemented across the Group’s Luzon commissaries, demonstrating how proven practices are being expanded across its operations.
