JOLLIBEE MARKS FIRST-EVER GLOBAL DREAMWORKS ANIMATION COLLABORATION WITH FORGOTTEN ISLAND

Manila, Philippines 8 September 2026—Jollibee is marking a milestone with its first-ever global collaboration with DreamWorks Animation for the theatrical release of Forgotten Island, arriving in theaters September 25, 2026.

DreamWorks Animation has brought audiences some of the most unforgettable bonds in film—from a boy and a dragon in How to Train Your Dragon to an ogre and a donkey in Shrek. For generations of fans, Jollibee has brought people together to bond over delicious food —from its world-famous Chickenjoy fried chicken to other well-loved favorites like Jolly Spaghetti and Peach Mango Pie. With the Forgotten Island collaboration, that celebration of friendship moves from the movie screen to the table, inviting friends and families to create joyful bonding moments of their own.

Filipino culture and talent are reflected throughout Forgotten Island, including Grammy and Academy Award-winning H.E.R., acclaimed actress Liza Soberano, Tony Award-winning Lea Salonga, global comedy superstar Jo Koy, and co-writer and co-director Januel Mercado. The film carries special meaning for Jollibee, a Filipino-born brand now enjoyed by customers around the world.

“Great stories and great food both have a way of bringing people together,” said David Beal, Jollibee Group Global Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Digital Marketing. “With DreamWorks Animation’s Forgotten Island, we’re inviting friends and families to celebrate the joy of friendship—from watching the film to sharing a delicious Jollibee meal together. It is a simple expression of what Jollibee has always stood for: serving great-tasting food and bringing the joy of eating to everyone.”

As part of the campaign, participating Jollibee markets will offer themed meal bundles inspired by the film. Customers who purchase a bundle will receive a Friendship Charm Bracelet, a limited-time keepsake inspired by the film’s story of friendship, available while supplies last.
